Seeking, finding, collecting, assembling . . . all parts of a very transportive process.  Much like walking the shoreline, scanning for that shell or pebble waiting to be discovered, I scavenge for discarded books: paperback covers with beautifully shaped type, bits of  color and interior decorative end pages hidden inside.  The pieces combine and puzzle together to tell a new story.
